Gabriel Gray was raised as the son of a watch repair man and has the power of intuitive aptitude. When a man name Chandra Surish places a call to him saying Gabriel may be special, the young man jumps at the chance. His power though, isn't something to be seen easily, so Gabriel starts killing people with more visible powers while his given power helped him absorb others gifts. He returned to Chandra after killing someone with the gift of telekinesis, then killed Chandra for doubting him. He goes on the run and changes his name to Sylar, getting visibly upset anytime someone calls him Gabriel. He believes that he needs to rid the world of people who have abilities and don't deserve them. He gains a handful of abilities along the way: Kinetic projection, cryokinesis, enhanced memory, etc. (A full list can be found here.) In a showdown in New York, he's stabbed by Hiro but is rescued by a woman named Candice. After recovering, he realizes that he has lost the use of all his abilities and needs to find Chandra's son, Mohinder, to get a cure. Once he gets his hands on the cure, he injects himself with it and very slowly starts regaining the use of all of his powers. At this time, he flees to Canada and enters the game [info]aternatopia!
